These materials will allow for many hands on learning experiences and for the ability to make real world connections in the science laboratory. It provides the opportunity for these students to see science in real life in additional to hearing or reading about it. Lab experiments generates excitement from all students especially when they have become lethargic due to the immobility that they experience in other classes. The titles of some of the labs in which these hot plates will be used includes Rock Cycle Lab, Solubility Curve of Potassium Nitrate Lab, Polymer Lab, Rate of Solution Lab, and Stoichiometry Lab.
