Students will be able to use these fidgets when they are participating in whole/small group instruction and need strategies to stay focused on the lesson. These fidgets can help students self-regulate and can prevent off-task behavior. These support will help all of my students with IEPS who have ADHD and/or SEL needs. Our students need support that goes beyond academic instruction. They need strategies to help them thrive socially and emotionally. Providing these tools will help make them successful in the classroom! When students are successful in the classroom, it helps them build the confidence that they can persevere no matter what the challenge.
