My students love to access Chromebooks. The independence that they have to work at their own pace without others watching, is something that brings them joy and self esteem. Unfortunately, we do not always have access to Chromebooks due to limited funds. Five class Chromeoboks would allow one fourth of my students to complete math practice, research and writing in class. Adding the Chromebooks will allow me to set up math centers, writing centers, and various assessments. This will allow time for small group individualized instruction which will in turn help me get to know them better and meet their specific learning needs. It will also increase their morale and motivation for learning!
