My at risk students are currently, using a reading program to improve their reading comprehension and reading rate. The students really enjoy listening to the stories and practicing and recording themselves reading. With the COVID virus, each student needs their own headphones to hear the stories and record themselves reading the stories. By funding this project, students will get the opportunity to improve and practice their reading so they can eventually perform on grade level. It also enables me to give them one on one individualized instruction while cutting down on distractions.
