This year, I chose to take a leap of faith and get rid of all of the desks in my room. With a large class size, I found myself and my students with little room to move around and be dynamic learners. The desks restricted our creativity and ability to actively work with each other. Students are more engaged in lessons when they are permitted to move, choose and create a workspace that fits them, and feel comfortable. The requested supplies will do just that for my students now and years to come. One of the most important skills this will teach my students is to understand how and where they learn best - a skill they will use forever!

About my class
