When I was reading a book about animals and in the book there was a picture of a loin. My class first question was what kind of animal is that and some replied that is a tiger. That is when I realize that as a teacher, it is my duty to expand my children's knowledge outside of the classroom. Filed trips are important because it gives children the experience that they may never have anywhere else. Where our school is located, most of our students will never travel outside of their home town. I want to show them that there is so much more in the world. By us going to the zoo, the children will not only learn about new animals, but also have a day without the worries that my children have living in a low- income neighborhood. The total for the trip is 1,450. I will do a second project, if you are interested in helping us raise the total cost for the bus.
