The Osmo boards will give my students multi-sensory ways to practice their spelling words, phonemic awareness, phonics, counting, number structuring, and turn taking. The board games will give my students opportunities to learn social skills, life skills, turn taking, counting, and letters in a fun and less demanding way. My students need to use all of their senses to learn. The Osmo boards give my students tactile input and visual input while using problem solving skills and imagination to learn specific skills. The board games offer movement and social opportunities to learn specific counting and phonics skills as well as life skills.
