Our drama program is rebuilding after an 8-year hiatus. Our actors' mic equipment is very old, outdated, and unreliable., sometimes resulting in audio failure or worse, loud static. The students work hard for months prior to a show. To have the performances be less than perfect, due to old mic equipment, has been a source of frustration for our program. Transmitters take a lot of wear and tear as they are worn by the actors during performances. Our actors have been very patient and caring with our old setups. However, they deserve to have equipment that will enhance, rather than detract from their performances.
