My classroom is VERY brightly lit and this, unfortunately, allows for a lot of distractions when it comes to taking notes and seeing displayed images on the board, due to the bright reflection off the whiteboard. Having the lamps will help tremendously decrease the glare and the lack of visibility of whatever is displayed. I am doing my best to provide a 21st century classroom with comfortable seating. Several of my computer chairs have broken so I am seeking the replace them. My students love attending my class for the seating arrangement in particular. I am also asking for notebooks because in my classes, we write often. Writing is part of all my students' IEPs, which is a legal binding document. My students write daily at 2-3 paragraphs at a time, thus filling up their notebooks rather quickly. Thank you for your help with my classes and thank you for caring for my students' engagement in class and their continued success.
