We are requesting compass sets, french curve templates and Junior t-squares. My students are reverse engineering a flashlight to make a redesigned better flashlight. They have gone through the engineering design process by identifying their problem and describing it. They are about to finish generating and selecting their concepts. They will need these drafting tools in order to embody their generated concepts and make their ideas real. Donations to this project will give my students the materials they need to advance through the Engineering Career Pathway. Students will gain insight into the field of engineering and make a decision to pursue a degree in a STEM field. My students will no longer write down their ideas; they can build them!
