The Chromebooks requested for this project will help me integrate technology into the classroom during literacy and math centers. Many think of technology as a distraction, but if used properly, technology can enhance learning and help encourage active participation in the classroom. Interactive and engaging math and reading programs, like Reading Eggs, IXL, and Seesaw will be used to expand the lesson and skills already learned in the classroom. It will help differentiate instruction to help meet the needs of different learning styles. Integrating technology will also provide collaboration among students, improve their digital citizenship skills, and help prepare them with the 21st century skills they need for the digital future.
