Sports help teach adolescents accountability, dedication, leadership and other skills. Student athletes do better academically in their studies. Through sports students problem-solve and learn what teamwork means. There is definitely a physical benefit when playing sports. Sports helps with boosting esteem. Sports helps with character building, discipline, social skills, patience, and perseverance. At our school we teach our students to be leaders. Leaders in the classroom, in the hallways, in the cafeteria. We want our students to be aware at all times. Our students must always show responsibility, respect, and reflect on their actions each and every day.
