All of the supplies I have added will be used to create take-home backpacks for when/if our class goes to virtual learning. I want to ensure that my students are fully equipped with the necessary supplies in order to make them successful at home. At the start of Covid, we were not given any notice that we would not be returning to the classroom, therefore, my students were unable to take any of their necessary school supplies home. Most of my students did not have school supplies at home and many parents did not have the means to buy more, especially since they'd already bought supplies at the beginning of the year. This is why I think creating take-home backpacks will allow us to be better prepared and will benefit my student's learning. Having the appropriate supplies will also make our virtual learning more engaging and fun.
