Having a set of Chromebooks in our classroom can give my scholars so many options to grow in their learning. Our curriculum we use has online lessons that the class can get on and complete. They have a requirement of time to complete each week and if they all have a computer it will be easier to accomplish that. A good use for computers in our classroom is to research topics we will be discussing. They can be apart of the research and finding their own information to learn about if they have a computer in front of them. I will also be starting to work on typing and getting scholars familiar with the basics of using a computer. Our school is finding that scholars are struggling to use the computer for something besides gaming and watching videos. They will learn basic uses of the computer and how to type up their paragraphs they write.
