Our feeder pattern just suffered a tremendous loss from the tornadoes that struck North Dallas at the beginning of November. Since then, we have merged two middle schools together and now have close to 1,500 students in one building that is meant for 800-900 students. These flexible seating options (tables) will create more space in my classroom and promote further collaboration amongst my ESL students. The headphones will give each of my students the ability to work at their own pace and practice their listening/speaking skills in English. My students are very active learners and flexible seating will encourage a more comfortable learning environment conducive to learning.
