By donating to my project you are offering our students an opportunity not stay home just because they don't have a winter coat. They won't have to face the cold wearing just a hoodie. Although the winter months can be relentless and dangerous they can head out to school with a smile on their face because they are wearing appropriate winter gear. The winter months are a struggle for our families, many of which are homeless. Our school is in an area where most of our students have to walk back and forth to school. They need to have a winter coat.
