Technology is a part of every day in our room as a whole group activity through the use of our projector and interactive white board. There are some wonderful programs we use that have already shown to be hugely beneficial to my students. Kindle Fires would enable my students to be able to complete follow-up activities independently, reinforcing the lesson and giving them ownership over their learning. The Kindle Fires will also be able to be used for center time activities. The Kindle Fires and protective cases will allow all of my students, even those that are non-verbal or minimally verbal to have a sense of independence and a new way to communicate and learn in the classroom.
