The goal of our campus is to encourage students to be as independent as possible upon graduating. In addition to the alternate curriculum, work based learning and job strands are a part of daily student life. We also practice interviewing skills, resume creation, cooking, hygiene, using money in real life situations, and functional writing skills. We have seen students that often struggle with behaviors or traditional academics thrive in a Graphic Design setting. Students soon realize they can blossom if given a different set of tools than they are used to working with. Despite their struggles or disabilities, they can see tangible results, and watch projects they envision come to life. We are asking for your help to purchase an additional two computers to use in our designing and printing process. Currently, we have three working computers for three separate classes of 15 students. The added desktops would help immensely in delegating projects.
