The students will be experiencing a new way of learning with social distancing in Physical Education class this year. Exercise videos including Yoga, Zumba, Step, Dance, Tae Bo, Circuit Training, and age appropriate exercises will be utilized. Students at home and in the gym will be able to follow along with the exercise videos to learn new exercises, stretches, dance moves, and training methods with exciting instructors and music. Normally my students would be participating together in fun partner work, team sports, and whole class activities, but due to the current COVID restrictions, social distancing is required. My priority is the safety of my students and their physical well-being. The use of the smart television and DVD player will allow for social distancing while the whole class can be active and reduce the spread of germs. This goes with our school's procedures for responsible hygiene protocol. I will also be able to live-stream the videos for students choosing to learn at home. These exercise videos will be perfect for our remote learning students as well as social distancing in our gymnasium.
