These materials will allow my students to have the opportunity to learn from a print-rich mentor text to aid in their learning both virtually and face-to-face. As we are not allowed to share materials this year, it will also provide my students with the ability to keep their materials safe throughout the school year and allow them to have ownership of their own materials. My wish list consists of books and school supplies for students to each have their own, without the burden of the parents have to supply and then resupply later in the year if needed. This year, we are also self-contained so I am working to make sure that I have all the supplies needed for my students, as many teaching supplies I hadn't needed in years past. This will be a huge blessing to not only me, but my students. I want to provide my students with the best year possible, even considering the circumstances and this will allow me to provide them with that little bit extra to help out.
