Students will be motivated to follow classroom procedures and expectations, by using a tickets’ reward system to be entered into a weekly raffle. Ways to earn tickets are working hard, helping a classmate or teacher, keeping the expected voice level, classroom participation, and meeting growth goals. In addition, following hallway, cafeteria, and bathroom expectations will be rewarded. With our PBIS model of behavior, the focus of leading students to wanted behavior is to use a positive rewards system to help steer children in the direction that we want them to go as teachers. It’s our job to model this behavior and convince students to follow it.

About my class
