About my class

EVERY learner is so different in what they need throughout their school day. A student's environment can truly make or break the success that they have during their school day. Some learners need movement as they listen, learn and work. Some need their own space, while others thrive from working together in a group. Some learners do best while standing, some need to sit or kneel. Students might find themselves needing different seating options throughout their day, depending on what subject we are studying at the time. For instance, a student may need his/her own learning space, with a rocker chair, to increase focus during math, but might thrive at a standing table with peers for writing. I want to be able to offer these options to my learners throughout their school day, whether it be during math, reading, writing, science, or art. By getting a standing height reading table, and another standing height group table, complete with stools, I am going to be able to offer my students just that...and what an exciting accomplishment that would be!
