This year my school went all in into the Algebra for All initiative. All 8th grade students will be taking the Algebra 1 Regents this year. Mathematics is made better through the use of technology, but we lack funding in that department. One of the best way to learn math is through coding. While we do have access to some Chromebooks, these are shared throughout the whole department of 500 students. This Windows laptop will give them access to a more powerful machine that can code in more languages and compile the programs faster. Another benefit of this laptop is that it has a touchscreen. Having a touchscreen with Pen support would allow them to write math equations easier than trying to type them out.
