Reading is an essential part of learning in our classroom. Reinforcing the skills we learn at school is imperative to their progress. Allowing students to take home books to read helps them achieve success. In the past I have been limited to only having books considered on level for kindergarten. Due to different levels and abilities in my classroom, this project will allow me to reach students who are reading at higher levels. It is necessary to have books allowing students to read books specific for their needs. This provides a way for them to feel success as well as continue to develop the skills they need to become successful readers.

About my class
