Our district has purchased a wonderful curriculum for special education. This curriculum is excellent in presenting step by step math and reading for our students, However the program requires a touch screen in order to present correctly. For example the program will have them count the flowers, and add or subtract by touch, The students would be able see how many flowers are left when they touch and remove . In reading it may have them put the words in correct order for a sentence by touching and moving the words in correct order. We do not have a touch screen Smartboard at this time and the district is unable to purchase one. These touch iPads would be so amazing to have to use with this curriculum .They could also be used in other ways in the classroom that would be beneficial. I appreciate so much your consideration.
