They are wanting more! My 7th grade students came from an elementary library that has an amazing graphic novel collection with fun and popular titles. It has been a disappointment coming to a new school and not having the variety and series they have grown to love. This is my first year at the middle school and the collection does needs a lot of work! I would love to get new titles for the students who love anything graphic novel, and some selections for the reluctant readers who would never choose a novel and read during their free time. I've included in my list, new and highly recommended titles and next in series for my avid readers. I've also included some classics and popular series that are now available in graphic novel format. I am so worried that I will lose the interest of my reluctant readers that started the year still interested in literacy. With the very small budget I have, I need all the help I can get!
