We use a video and voice recorder on chrome books to record students engaging in collaborative conversations around content we are studying. The headphones will help minimize the background noise allowing for the students to listen to their peer's ideas via sharing of videos. The students will also be able to better self evaluate their readings they record of themselves. My students who are mostly English Language Learners and students with special needs and they learn best when they are able to process their learning verbally with others. This also allows me as their teacher to offer different ways to assess their understanding of content besides the traditional paper and pencil.
