Helping my students develop or enhance their love of reading is one of my main goals as a teacher. To do that, I need a variety of engaging and well-written books for my classroom library. As students find and read books that interest them, their reading abilities grow exponentially. In order to facilitate this growth in reading, my classroom library needs to have lots of good choices for my 5th graders. These books will help spark the students' enjoyment of reading and help them develop reading strategies and grow their vocabulary banks which will benefit them the rest of their lives. We are also requesting some supplies, such as clipboards.
