I teach in an inner-city school located in the Bronx, NY. All my students have a story and deal with issues kids shouldn't have to deal with. Still, they come to school and try their best. They have grown to love the library and flexible seating to help engage their learning. However, there is not enough flexible seating or space for students to enjoy. The following materials will give our students the opportunity to escape their reality and get lost in their books. This bench will not only give students an area to read, but it will also act as additional storage space for books. These bins will also allow more books to be added to our library.
