One challenge during online teaching is having only one display to monitor student participation, while constantly switching between presentations and accessing meeting controls. To address this issue, I am requesting an extra monitor, which will allow two screens for a smooth flow of teaching without interruption. A second monitor will allow me to see all of my students while I am teaching to assess their participation and learning. Having an extra monitor to view the students will allow my students to receive timely feedback, interact, and participate. The second screen would allow me to quickly address any issue with understanding and monitor student needs more timely. The additional monitor would assist in providing more effective and quality instruction during distance learning.
