These books will enhance the Spanish vocabulary rich classroom that I continue to create. Students in my classroom enjoy reading on a daily basis in both Spanish and English. From our unit books to reader´s workshop and whole group reading to independent reading. Every student is able to chose from my library during their independent reading time, books that are tailored to their level of Spanish. I am proud to say that each book in my library is treated with care. The books that are currently listed in my project support the reading comprehension of third graders in a dual language Spanish classroom that have become intrigued by the different challenges the characters in the Casa del arbol series (Magic Tree House) face. The chapter books listed are not part of our library but host a number of figurative language and vocabulary that is used throughout our units this year which enhance their writing as well.
