Nearpod’s interactive activities and dynamic media is multi-sensory learning. Students can watch a video or read text. They can respond to a question in a way that plays off their strength – drawing, writing or adding an image via Google Safe Search. Gamification, simulations, 3D images and virtual reality are built into the lesson. Students are guided either independently or by the teacher. When working with the teacher, students must go at the teachers pace. The teacher is able to assess, reteach, and demonstrate content throughout the lesson. Students are also able to use this program at home. All they need is a NearPod code to begin the lesson.
