My students must be able to think critically, communicate and solve everyday problems. Math is often frustrating to students. I want to be able to help my students overcome this stigma by providing math centers and manipulatives in the classroom. Being in an urban area my students need the necessary tools in the classroom to help them compete in an ever-changing society. By donating to this project you are helping a classroom full of students defy the odds. By being able to use math each and every day in a variety of learning activities my students will be on the path to success that is not defined by their zip code.

About my class
