I hope to be able to provide my students with a safe and calming space to support their social-emotional well-being. In order to do this, my office would ideally include comfortable furniture, aroma therapy, mindfulness activities, art therapy, and therapeutic games. I believe that these items are crucial for helping students to feel like my office is a healing space for them to come to during school. Many of my students have numerous barriers with accessing mental heath services outside of school and therefore their time with me may be their only opportunity to receive social-emotional support. Thank you in advanced for helping to support the students within our high school community!
