I have selected a variety of items that my classroom is in need of. We have been operating all school year without individual white boards, which some of my required teaching practices need me to be utilizing. We have been writing on our desks, which is fun, but limits student engagement and makes a headache for the janitorial staff in the evenings. I want to give my students all of the tools they need to be successful, but unfortunately I am unable to fund these items personally. I am also asking for books, the specific books I have selected are titles my students have put on our classroom wish list. I am working to help students that are behind the 4th grade reading level get onto grade level, but I need more books they are excited to be reading. This will be incredibly exciting to see my student's faces light up at the sight of the books they have been asking for over the past few months.
