Thank you for taking the time to read about our classroom and our needs. My kindergarten students love hands-on lessons where they are allowed to express their creativity. They love working in small groups designing, planning, and work cooperatively using team-building skills. I try to incorporate a STEM activity everyday. I believe it is an essential component of their young learning. My students have asked for more STEM materials in our classroom as I do not have enough for all of them. I want to give them the opportunity to build peer relationships, develop creative and critical thinking skills, build problem-solving skills, all while allowing them to turn their curiosity and inquisitiveness into a foundation for a life long love of learning. These materials will allow them to take charge of their own learning while giving them choices. It allows them all to become innovators and inventors.
