I am a new Spanish teacher in the USA. My school participates in an incredible Dual Immersion Program, but since it is my first year I don't have a lot of materials in my class that would help my students to learn better. I need a variety of resources to make my class more attractive to my students, such as class games, science materials and I would love to implement a STEAM project with a Makey Makey Invention Kit. I am teaching Science and my students love it. It's really hard to understand science in Spanish when it's not your first language, but they make it so easy and I want to help them to understand these concepts by teaching in a more attractive way. I want them to experience science, put their hands-on activities by using this 4M Kitchen Science Kit. Children learn by playing games, it's always been this way and in languages it's even more important to get children engaged in activities. This is why I want to bring the students on board by playing this games Pressman Chess, Battleship, Connect 4 Game, Ocho locos and Guess Who and practicing Spanish in the classroom. Finally as a part of a STEAM project, I want to use Makey Makey an Invention Kit for Everyone. Innovation is crucial nowadays and it's very important to apply that in our classrooms. Students need to discover, think and live new experiences everyday.
