96% of my current students participated in remote learning for the entirety of last school year, so adjusting to in-person learning this year will be a social challenge. I want to give my students opportunities to express themselves through a variety of outlets, including a poetry station outfitted with a typewriter and an art journaling station with all the inspiring supplies my students do not have at home. These resources will pave the way to them growing as writers and as part of our academic community while expressing themselves emotionally.
