Our classroom, made up of 16 boys and 4 girls this year, REALLY enjoys active play! With rainy days and the cold Indiana winter coming up, we could use some materials to enhance our indoor play. The jumbo tunnel will allow us to use our large muscles for crawling, as well as learning how to take turns. The parachute is great for cooperative play. The bean bag learning center has many different ways we can use it to learn as we play, and we can always use more sensory materials, such as the colored sand. The hopscotch carpet will allow for creative large muscle play. All of these things will help them develop more communication skills, and provide them more opportunities to learn through play.
