Social Emotional Learning is so important to a students overall success in school. As a elementary school counselor, I strive to support all of my students in the area as much as possible. Office supplies such a flexible seating, clipboards and calm down corner resources, will help me create an inviting classroom space for my students. It will provide an effective working area where I can have small groups and individual counseling sessions. This is my first year at my new school and these resources will go a long way in creating a comprehensive school counseling program. Having the flex seating options while working with students individually and in group will be so helpful, especially for my students that suffer/ lack self regulation skills.
