In a world of technology and reading on screens, these portable CD players will help in allowing students to appreciate the joy of reading a physical book while listening to the story being read to them. This will help to build fluent and inflectional readers while allowing students the freedom to escape in a world of visualization and imagery while they listen to their next story! This donation will help keep my students' favorite center up and running while giving them more time to read and less time trying to fix their used and broken CD players. We would be so grateful for your generosity in helping to build strong readers and nurture a love for reading!
