When my students first saw the colorful games like Feed The Animals, Grab That Donut, and the Sorting Surprise Pirate Treasure, their faces lit up. The students were so excited to play the games and that is the goal. For many of my fine motor groups, traditional pencil and paper tasks feel frustrating. These hands on tools allow them to build strength and coordination in a fun, low pressure way while protecting their confidence.\r\n\r\nWe use these materials every day during our small group fine motor sessions. Students squeeze therapy putty to build hand strength, use tweezers and scissor scoops to improve grasp and control, clip letters and numbers to strengthen finger isolation, and lace alphabet pieces to build bilateral coordination. The busy board helps students practice real life fastening skills, while sorting, linking, and building activities improve endurance. I have already seen students who once avoided cutting or writing show more confidence and stamina during classroom tasks.\r\n\r\nClassroom teachers are already seeing a noticeable difference in their students' confidence and independence during writing and cutting tasks. Students who once struggled to hold scissors or avoid writing activities are participating more willingly and sustaining effort longer. As their hand strength improves, we are gradually increasing writing expectations and independence with classroom tools. Your support is helping close the gap for students who need extra time and practice to develop these foundational skills. Thank you for investing in our tiny hands and big progress. Your generosity is making a lasting difference.","fullyFundedDate":1765995590649,"projectUrl":"project/fine-motor-fun-for-growing-minds/9930873/","projectTitle":"Fine Motor Fun for Growing Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ragain","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8230523_orig.jpg?crop=1874,1874,x413,y846&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1639674312886","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8230523"},{"teacherId":9498772,"projectId":9465102,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for brining this exciting new tool to our Little Learners classroom. \r\nOur Littles have enjoyed our new light table.
