I will use these supplies to set up a commercial kitchen environment where students can learn to not only prepare food, but learn food and kitchen safety, nutrition and child care, and understand how to work in a professional culinary environment. We have a nice classroom with four kitchens and lots of prep space. However, our budget of only $750/year covers food, but no supplies. We need basic things like paper towels, aluminum foil, containers, and kitchen staples to function. We don't have any of these things right now and they are imperative to running our program. We will use materials carefully and conserve as best as we can.
