Nearpod is an interactive platform that guides students through a lesson! If lessons aren't engaging, then they aren't accessible to students. Using Nearpod would allow another opportunity for students to interact with math in a new way. Our students are given many opportunities throughout the district, but funding is still limited because Mississippi hasn't fully funded education in 10 years. Last year, 7th grade math students at our school showed incredible growth. The hope is to keep that momentum and excitement for learning going. Our kids deserve the opportunity to access programs that will engage them and keep them learning. Here's to hoping the DonorsChoose.org community can help out!
