The squeeze machine will improve my students academic experience within the school dramatically by providing the students with sensory information they are seeking to find! Some of the students lack sensory processing skills, motor integration, and demonstrate sensory seeking behaviors. As an Occupational Therapist we are trained to use our skills to provide children with deep pressure, proprioceptive input, vestibular input and sensory input. The squeeze machine will provide deep pressure as well as proprioceptive input to my students to improve their academic abilities and help them overcome barriers they face in school. Many of my students would benefit a great deal from this squeeze machine!
