It will be wonderful to have a great new addition of a carpet for my students. This will be something colorful that they will get to use on a daily basis and they we also have the opportunity of choosing their own seating. By making the rug one of our main focal points in our classroom will be great. It will be flexible seating and students will be given the choice which color button they would like to sit on. We do a lot of our learning on our carpet during "carpet time." My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work and where to sit.
