My project is geared to help my wonderful prekindergarten three students excel in their learning of literacy. I am transitioning from fourth grade to prekindergarten, and noticed that my students do not have the basic fundamentals to help them learn letter identification, syllabication, and other necessities to work in literacy workstations. My students are still struggling to identify their names. Dry erase markers and dry erase pockets will help reinforce name practice. Letter identification workstations will help them be able to become more fluent in noticing their alphabets. Syllabication workstations will help us with breaking down words, and increase their fluency in letter sounds.
