This is many of our students first year learning to play a musical instrument and are excited to learn it. Playing a musical instrument has so many benefits, such as providing students a way to connect with other students. They are able to build positive relationships with their peers. They are also learning the art of being patient because learning a new instrument takes time and practice. These are skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. It is also a privilege to be able to pass the love of music to students. By playing an instrument, students learn that music education is just as important as academics. It could become a career choice for many of them. After all their practice and hard work, students will be able to showcase what they learned at our Winter Musical to their families, peers, and community. This is why we need these suspenders and bow ties. They will not only play well, but look good also.
