Hello, I am Mr. Alba from a public charter school located in East Las Vegas, Nevada. Our school has an enrichment program that includes plastic arts and music. I am the music teacher, and I am trying to form a music group formed by elementary-level students from second to fifth grade. I gathered flute recorders so the kids can play the music they make in the classroom. They love to do solfege, theory, rhythm, singing, music appreciation, and instrument performance in and after school. These are some of the Nevada Department of Education Standards I want to accomplish with the help of this donation: With guidance, apply personal, peer, and teacher feedback in refining personal musical ideas. With guidance, demonstrate a final version of personal musical ideas to peers.
