Parents of homeless children are requesting books, jackets, and shoes for their children. Meeting basic needs of some of our children will enhance the children's learning. By having a warm jacket, student will be able to focus more on academics and not worry about being cold or getting sick. Also, having basic needs (clothes), such as having appropriate shoes to wear to school will guarantee their participation in PE, dance, and during recess and ensure that they are more successful at school. Some of the children are very excited and interested in learning, however, they have only a few books at home.

About my class
